Jane Shure, Workshops on Self Esteem in Philadelphia
Beth Weinstock PhD

Beth Weinstock PhD is known for her powerful blend of clinical, academic and professional training mixed with practical wisdom. She is a Leadership Coach and Clinical Psychologist with over 35 years of successfully stewarding clients through personal and professional change. In her clinical work with individuals, families and couples she is an expert in dismantling shame, resolving trauma and supporting people's strengths for moving forward from difficult life situations. In her coaching work she helps clients create clear vision, clarify roles, set goals, map strategy, build teams, manage conflict, reduce stress, learn communication skills, and facilitates multiple forms of leadership development. Her work combines deep compassion and understanding of human dynamics combined with tools for every day practice; it entertains each client uniquely, addressing current challenges, context, history, desired outcomes and financial realities.

Beth has a long history of coaching and facilitating workshops that help participants build self-confidence and fortify their resilience. She developed a consulting practice with long-time work partner Dr. Jane Shure and together they initiated Resilient Leadership, programs designed to "Strengthen Your Inner Coach to be Stronger Than Your 'Inner Critic.'" Resilient Leadership teaches strategies for positive self-talk that increase one's ability to bounce back from disappointments, move past what isn't working, take the next risk, and make difficult decisions. These skills counteract habitual patterns of self-doubt and increasing self-assertion, bolstering success for leaders themselves and for those they lead. To date, these programs have been well received by audiences that include ING in New York, Drexel University Nursing faculty and the Athena Leadership Lab at Barnard College. (See also www.SelfMatters.org for upcoming workshop in the Philadelphia area, "Calm Your Inner Critic and Quiet Your Anxious Mind").

Beth believes that assessment and feedback are essential parts of a meaningful coaching/consulting process as we don't always see our own best gifts and talents, or our areas that may need improvement. She is certified to administer the Myers-Briggs Type Inventory, the most widely used and most reliable personality inventory, and also the "Tilt 360" feedback assessment.
